Nipo Maru, Truk Lagoon

Andrew Whitehead spent several months researching the final years of World War Two particularly in regard to the Pacific war and the role of the various types of Japanese submarines from midgets to huge underwater aircraft carriers. He has also published numerous articles and photographs on his scuba diving trips, diving courses, safety and standards. His articles have appeared in Sportdiving Magazine, Solomon Airlines Inflight Magazine and Dive Log Australasia.
Scuba diving has been a life-long recreational activity, where Andrew attained a high level of training and experience.
